In my family, Thanksgiving is a pretty awesome holiday, with family flying in from out of town and feasting and drinking from ten until ten. It’s my favorite holiday!
This year will be no different, except for my allergies.
If you think about it, Turkey is virtually the only naturally wheat, egg, yeast and dairy free dish served at Thanksgiving. It was looking like a pretty bleak feast for me, so I’ve tasked myself with making a number of “safe” dishes for Thanksgiving this year. I’ll be testing out and blogging about various versions of the following foods:
Apple Dessert
Stuffing
Creamed Onions
Mashed potatoes
Gravy
So there are lots of recipes and posts to look forward to in the next few days. Honestly, I tend to practice “marathon cooking” techniques, but even if I cook many things in the same day, I will be blogging about them separately. Trust me, when you need the recipe later, you will thank me.
